• 2002 - "Restoration of Zappeion Exhibition Hall"

During the 6-month period of the Greek Presidency in the European Union (January 1-June 30, 2003), there was a permanent Press Center and a permanent Accreditation Desk at Zappeion, serving as headquarters for the Greek Presidency in the EU.

In 2002, Genius Systems was a subcontractor on the project "Renovation and Restoration of Zappeion Exhibition Hall" for the hosting of the Greek Presidency in the EU. The company undertook the construction of the structured cabling – fiber optic network, the fire alarm system, the matrix based CCTV system, the intrusion alarm system and the construction of the innovative - at the time - control room required for the control and management of all the systems installed within the Zappeion Exhibition Hall, including maintenance. The company cooperated, throughout the Greek Presidency, with some special sectors of the Greek Police and the Fire Department, which were established especially for this reason.

The Zappeion Exhibition Hall had 23 rooms, which hosted 2,150 job positions.

During the same year Genius Systems designed, effectuated and tested Zappeion Exhibition’s Hall Call Center, which was intended to meet the needs and requirements of the 2004 Olympic games.

  • 2003 - Panasonic VoIP Technology Connection

The first nationwide enterprise connection using Panasonic VoIP Technology is a fact. The connection was effectuated in 2003, by connecting the headquarters of EGEM S.A. in Athens with its factory facilities in Thessaloniki. Through this installation EGEM managed to eliminate the cost of multiple every-day calls between the headquarters and the factory.

  • 2004 - 1st unified Paneuropean Call Centre / Security systems for the Olympic Games Press Center building

In 2004 Genius Systems designed and installed on behalf of the Being Best company, the 1st unified Paneuropean Call Centre, thus managing to connect all European countries through voice internet, utilizing Panasonic’s VoIP technology. The company was awarded for this worldwide innovation and took full advantage of those Call Centers' potential.

Within the same year, Genius Systems designed and installed the security systems for the Olympic Games Press Center building, which later on came to house the Ministry of Education.

  • 2007 - Electrical engineering facilities of a 2,000 square meter residence

In 2007, Genius Systems designed and installed the electrical engineering facilities of a 2,000 square meter residence in Glyfada, using all kinds of existing technology. The project included the reception of the pool water's PH level, the notification of the control center in the event of fuel shortage within the burner's tank, an integrated telecommunications and satellite reception network, the installation of the intrusion alarm system and the integration of all these individual systems to one single system.

  • 2008 - Design and installment of security systems,

A year later, Genius Systems designed and installed for the needs of an office and show room building of 2,000 square meters facilitated in Moschato, fire alarm, intrusion alarm, CCTV, announcement, network, satellite and terrestrial reception, access control as well as fire extinguishing systems.

  • 2009 - Interface system for five residence

In 2009 Genius Systems designed, and installed an interface system and also the individual systems comprising it (terrestrial and satellite TV, intrusion alarm, CCTV, telecommunications and network systems) for five residences in the district of Peloponnese, covering a total of 1,000 acres.

  • 2010 - Intrusion alarm and CCTV system for the army camp at Thrace

Genius Systems designed and installed an intrusion alarm and CCTV system for the needs of the biggest army camp at Thrace.

  • 2011 - 1st CCTV system in Greece incorporating long distance lazer illumination

In 2011, Genius Systems designed and installed the 1st CCTV system in Greece incorporating long distance lazer illumination for a facility near the area of the former Faliron Horse Track. By utilizing highly specialized equipment it was able to provide internet access to live HD video for more than ten users with the establishment of a dynamic DynDNS account combining ADSL lines and bottle neck solutions. The cameras were installed on specially manufactured pillars in order to withstand high speed winds of up to 160 km/hour with the maximum vibration at 12 meters height reaching 2,5 cm.

  • 2012 - Uniform telecommunications system for the administration of nine individual companies 

Genius Systems designed and installeduniform telecommunications system for the administration of nine individual companies with eight individual telecommunication providers.
